Saint Peter’s University Hospital maintains its 340B Program using SectyrHub® 340B Software for Continuous Program Compliance®
SITUATION
Saint Peter’s University Hospital is a 478-bed acute-care teaching hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey, that treats more than 23,000 inpatients and 245,000 outpatients annually. Their “commitment to humble service to humanity, especially the poor, through competence and good stewardship of resources,” is embraced at all levels of the organization.
In alignment with their mission to serve low-income, uninsured, and under-insured patients, Saint Peter’s joined the 340B Program in early 2014 and grew over the subsequent years.
In 2016, Saint Peter’s underwent a federal audit of their 340B Program by the Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA), which reinforced the importance of steadfast program compliance. Saint Peter’s hired Fatimah Muhammad as 340B Program Manager to address post-HRSA audit follow-up and sought a software tool to help manage HRSA’s expectations, stay organized, and maintain continuous compliance.
SOLUTION
